Implemented and analyzed metric tracking on a high traffic data pipeline.
Identified and fixed bugs across all areas of the codebase in multiple languages.
Created and maintained a testing suite for an entire codebase built with TypeScript and Jest.

Programmer - Cancer Research and Biostatistics - Seattle, WA

December 2019 – July 2021

Programmed for national cancer studies using C#. My team built the forms that get filled out by hospital employees to track millions of patient’s cancer care outcomes across the country. Studies were both longitudinal and singular.
Learned to work with RAVE, the hosting environment of said studies.
Experienced the nonprofit world and work-flow; observed the development process and data management of large scale cancer studies.

Software Engineer Intern - Cartera Commerce - Lexington, MA

July 2019 – October 2019

Used PHP, MySQL and HTML to maintain and improve the internal statistics reporting website of a mature mid-size company.
Led project to dramatically improve the data entry efficiency of 30 employees. Reported to and satisfied requirements of multiple departments, including the data entry manager, database manager and others.
Learned common industry business practices such as deployment practices, Agile and professional standards of Git version control.

Contractor - CellarTracker.com - Seattle, WA

May 2018 - August 2018

Designed graphical data visualizations for CellarTracker.com, a wine cellar tracking and rating website with 500,000 monthly users, in order to track personal wine collections.
Used JavaScript, HTML, CSS and the D3 charting library to make Bar Graphs, Scatterplots, Pie Charts, and Line Graphs for the website.

Data Science Researcher - Salem, OR

March 2018 – May 2018

Cleaned, processed and visualized longitudinal data on over a million federal employees per year from 1973-2013 using Python and Tableau.
Performed this study for a Willamette business professor’s research on federal employee trends and correlations.
